Leila M. Hawver

Leila May Williams Hawver, 71, of Fairview, NC formerly of Union City, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at John F. Keefer, Jr. Solace Center.

A native of Bellevue, MI., she was a daughter of the late Perry and Ruth Kinney Williams. She was a member of the Reynolds Baptist Church in Fairview.

Leila is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Hills and her husband, Jeff, of Fairview; three sons; G. Todd Hawver and his wife, Tracy, of Albion, Jerry C. Hawver of Rutherfordton, NC, Randy D. Hawver and his wife, Pam, of Fletcher, NC as well as eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City with Pastor Marty Burdick officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Union City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Leila’s memory to John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center c/o Care Partners Hospice, P. O.
