I worked with Josephine in the mid 80’s…every time I walked down the hall I got a BIG Hi John or even better DATO how are you doing…her memory will always bring a smile to my face!

I just got off the phone with my brother and mentioned Josephine Doring passed and he said the Yankee Lady! She will go down in Weehawken History as the Yankee Lady especially if you were fortunate enough to be her guest at a game or got good seats at tickets price.
Josephine’s generosity and kindness went way beyond Yankee tickets to me and her close friends. She was a pillar of comfort in bad times and the best chef in good times.
While I am saddened for her passing, I am comforted in knowing her suffering has ended and she is reunited with her beloved Bill, watching Yankee games with George and having dinner with Tommy. I will miss her.
My deepest condolences to the Gullo-Doring Family
Love,
Francis J

"I was saddened by this news of Josephine's passing. She was always a bright light to all of us at the New York Yankees. She was so sweet and had the witty lines to follow-up her funny stories. She loved all of her friends and will be loved eternally by those who knew her. She adored her entire family, late husbnd Bill, niece, etc. Hoping that you are now with Bill and dancing in the moonlight of heaven together!

Rest in peace, my dear friend. May God Bless you forever!
All my love, Annette Guardabascio xox"

I will always remember her smile. When I started with the Yankees Josephine was one of the first people to greet me she made me feel at home and part of the family right away.
Josephine always wanted to know how my family was doing and if I was taking good care of my daughters. My wife Who only knew Josephine from our Christmas parties was deeply saddened also.
