We remember going to your lakehouse to spend the weekend. You and Aunt Karen couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. We enjoyed the barbecue overlooking the lake and the beautiful blue sky in the background. It was a wonderful end of the summer day. I beieve it was Labor Day Weekend.

We got to know You, Ray, very well and found your life as a soldier and pipe fitter and staunch Democrat very fascinating.

We will l always appreciate you for being straight forward and telling it like it is.

You also had a warm, gentle and compassionate side as an animal lover who took in sick animals that no one else would. We love you for helping them.

Chris and Sal Cannavale. 🙏

Uncle Ray: Thank you for sharing your life with us. You were a walking history book. The hours we spent sitting down, one proud Marine, two proud Navy sailors, talking about our times in the service. It was fascinating listening to you tell your story. You were a master storyteller! Ann and I appreciate the times we got together and the support Aunt Karen and you gave us through our lives. You will be truly missed.

Dear Uncle Ray,
We were all so upset to learn of your passing. It was our pleasure to get to know you, even though it was at this late point in our lives. I truly enjoyed our conversations - they were often like a history lesson of our family. We are so grateful that you were with us on a few occasions, and we especially enjoyed having you and Aunt Kitty join us for Mia's christening. It was a very special day. Every time I looked at you that day, I thought of my dad whom we had recently lost and who I missed terribly. The resemblance was really amazing. I pray that you rest in peace in the arms of your dad (and my grandfather) whom you so loved and admired.

Love, Patti, Bob, Jeannie, Tom, Thomas and Mia xoxo

Uncle Ray: You will be missed. How I loved our long phone calls. You were always a pleasure to talk to. I loved to listen to all the stories you told about the past. Stories, that helped me connect to my grandfather. For that, I will be eternally grateful. Rest in peace Uncle.

Your loving niece Cecilia Sullivan Greenstein and Bob Greenstein
