Ann R. Hochuli, 89, passed away on July 21, 2018. She is survived by her children; Karen Hochuli-Packard and her husband Arthur, Deborah Hochuli-Doty and her husband Robert, Lois Hochuli-Lampert, and John Hochuli and his wife Linda, her three grandchildren; Lauren Hochuli, Jenna Hochuli-Maloney and her husband Jason, and Matthew Lampert, her sister, Ellen Kalousis, and her daughter-in-law, Roseanne Hochuli. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, George Sr., her son George Jr., her son-in-law, Alan Lampert, and six of her siblings, two sisters and four brothers. Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother, who lived in Union, NJ for 67 years. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was raised in Newark, NJ. When she and George married in 1950 they purchased their first home together in Union. That home is where she raised her family and she continued to reside in until recently. Ann enjoyed gardening, bird watching and visiting casinos. The family would like to acknowledge Ruth Mugane for her care and companionship. A visitation will be held for Ann on Tuesday, July 24 at from 4-8pm with a service at 6:30 at McCracken Funeral Home. 1500 Morris Ave, Union. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation in Ann’s name to Ascend Hospice, 65 Jackson Dr., suite 103, Cranford, NJ 07016, (866) 821-1212, or the charity of your choice.

I was just 5 years old when I knew Ann as the mother of my friend Karen. Over all those years what I remember best is her Laughter and her smile. She was a part of my childhood memories, and I am grateful for having known her. My deepest sympathy to her beautiful family.
