Arthur Wagner

Arthur W. Wagner, age 86, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. He was born on August 16, 1932 to the late Arthur H. and Agatha Wagner in Newark, New Jersey. A resident of Union for 60 years, he worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 253 of Hackensack, NJ.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Alice Wagner, his son, Wayne Wagner and his wife Colleen, and son Scott Wagner, as well as four grandsons, Corey, Justin, Casey, and Brandon. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church 1212 Kelly Street Union, NJ, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:15am, followed by interment at Graceland Memorial Park Kenilworth, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. This charity helps bring independence back to our nation’s most severely wounded veterans.
