Charles E Hall, age 87, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday April 14, 2020. Charles was a member of the Township of Union Fire Department for 30 years. He joined the department in 1960, was promoted to Captain in 1968 and was promoted to Battalion Chief in 1982 until his retirement in 1990. After his retirement he was the owner of Union Fire Equipment Company in Union, NJ. Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Lois Schoen Hall, his devoted daughter Christine and her husband Robert Rydel, and his loving grandchildren Lauren and Sean.
