Clifford Wheatley Hamm Sr. Retired machinist, church trustee and volunteer Clifford Wheatley Hamm Sr., 93, of Toms River, N.J., formerly of Union, N.J., passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016. A visitation will be held at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, on Wednesday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Cliff was a machinist with Elastic Stop-Nut in Union for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He served as a trustee at the Union Methodist Church in Union and was a volunteer with the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey. Cliff was predeceased by his wife, Adele Hamm, and later by his companion, Jeanette Kownicki. He is survived by his devoted children, Marilyn and her husband, Robert Castiglione, and Cliff Jr. and his wife, Elaine Hamm; his loving grandchildren, Christian, Craig, Katherine, and Andrew, and his cherished great-grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary.
