David Lucarello

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Q. Lucarello a beloved partner, uncle, friend, and extraordinary soul, who left us on June 27, 2025. David was 47 years of age. He was born on July 26, 1977 in Livingston, NJ to Quentino and Jean Lucarello. His departure has left a quiet, aching space in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

David was more than just the titles he carried as he was the steady hand to hold, the calm voice in a storm, the laughter at the dinner table, and the love that lit up the lives of those closest to him. His kindness was constant, his strength unwavering, and his love knew no bounds.

David worked for UPS as a package driver. He is survived by his devoted partner, Dana Zika and her son Aiden, his brother-in-law Daniel Aliseo, niece Valerie, and nephew Michael, and his darling “furbaby”, Grizabella, amongst many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will carry forward his memory with deep pride and enduring love.

David touched the lives of so many with his generosity, his gentle wisdom, and his sense of humor. He taught us the importance of honesty, humility, and always showing up for the people you love. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his presence will forever live on in our hearts, our stories, and the love he gave so freely.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home for a memorial gathering on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm. Cremation will be private under the direction of the funeral home.
