To Denise’s family and Friends,

She was a beacon of light with a living presence to anyone that came in contact with her for any length of time.  Her energy was contagious and inspiring.  

She adored her love ones unconditionally and this love will transcend heaven and earth.  

I met her as trainer at the gym and she was someone to emulate.  A special human that encouraged and inspired all of us that were her students .  She will always be in my heart,
Thank you for the time that you gave all of us ; it will be a special  gift in my heart.  

May you enjoy the grace and love in the House of the Lord.

I went to school with Denise from grade school through high school. Denise was always very nice and had a beautiful smile. I remember her doing back flips on the football field- Very impressive.  Her passing is shocking and so sad. My condolences to everyone. 

Denise was an incredible fitness instructor and a beautiful person. I took her online classes during the pandemic and was fortunate to see and talk with her adorable children. My heart breaks for them and all who loved her. 

Rest In peace Denise ❤️. You are now a beautiful angel.

Denise and I attended Union HS and Willy P together but ran in different circles. But every time I saw her on campus at Willy P it was nothing but big smiles & energy & love!!! What a soul! What tears thinking about her and hope she had a beautiful life.  Bill Daubner 

Thoughts, prayers, love and hugs to Dan, her children and all those that loved her! Denise and I did many years of dance at Cherney Dance studio in Union!  She was also a gym instructor and we worked out together and did her  classes! Her love of fitness was amazing and she was such a great person and friend! Never forget her energy and the smile on her face! May she rest in peace and be remembered by all!!

I am sending sincere condolences to the family and friends of Denise. She was a wonderful instructor and person. I will always remember her zeal for life and dynamic personality. May the family gain solace in knowing how much she was respected and love.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Dan, Michael and Valarie. You were the light of Denise's world, and my heart breaks for all of you. Denise was truly a spitfire, and loved by so very many people. She was my trainer at Club Metro and I took classes with her at NBD. What she did for us during the pandemic to keep us fit and sane was tremendous, and shows how big her heart was.

She will be truly missed. Sending all of you much love and wishes for peace.

My deepest condolences to the family.  I knew Denise from NYSC she was a kickboxing instructor for years.  Loved her great energy,  motivation and always smiling.  She will be truly missed, will be praying for the family.

Sincere condolences to the family. Denise was a beautiful person inside and out and would always remember her enthusiasm and how nice she was . I met her initially from NBD and then we reconnected at Connecticut Church Nursery School where our children attended preschool together. I am so sorry she lost her battle with cancer and pray that she is in heaven with the angels and no longer suffering and flying high .

I’m so sorry to hear the loss of this beautiful soul. I knew Denise from at least 15 years ago as an aerobics instructor at NYSC. I immediately loved her energy and motivation. After years of taking her classes we realized we had mutual friends and from that I was able to get to know her better in a social environment. She was a joy to be around. My sincerest condolences to her husband and beautiful children. You are all in my prayers.

Denise was a classmate of mine from 1st grade at Livingston School to 12th grade in Union High school.  I remember sitting next to P. Allen watching her perform on the balance beam in the Union High School Gym (1989ish).  She finished up by doing back flip and all the students were in awe.  She was an inspiration to all.  I will be praying for your family.


My deepest condolences to the family. Denise was my instructor at NBD and during the pandemic as well. I know she touched the lives of so many. She was taken too soon and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace and watch over her 2 precious children whom she loved so dearly.
