My heart is broken as I read of the loss of my friend and cousin. My Mum was Sue's Auntie Evelyn.  From the time I was a little girl, my Mum would tell story after story of her love for Susan.  She was even there when Susan was born.  Therefore, I grew up loving Susan, too. 

As adults, Susan and I found our way to each other and became fast friends.  Her wisdom, sense of humor, and beautiful heart were always on display.  

When Susan talked about her children and grandchildren, her pride in them shone through.  There was a mutual love and devotion that for each one that grew over the years. 

I've yet to meet you kids in person, but I am beyond grateful that you took such wonderful care of my dear friend and cousin, Susan.  There really are no words to fully express my sadness for each of you.   But my prayers are with you.  I already miss your Mom.

So very sorry to hear of our cousins passing may she  always be remembered for her witty personality she would make you laugh n her stories too I have such wonderful memories n remembering we would sit at grandmas n have a ginger ale with vanilla ice cream n of course one of her favorites devil dogs  we did share some ups n downs but she would always have a smile n make the best of everything she was a beautiful soul n will always be in our thoughts n prayers n all her children to Rest In Peace Susan God has another Angel n she will keep them laughing  you will have a lot of good company in Heaven 🙏

Grandma,
You will always be in my heart. I am so thankful for the time we had together, especially these past few years as we grew closer.  I will treasure the great memories we shared. I wish we had been given more time, but I know we will meet again in a better place, where we will have forever together. I love you deeply and miss you more than words. Your love, warmth, and spirit will be with me always. Until we meet again, you will live in my heart and in everything you taught me. I love you grandma.

My mom’s love ran deep. She adored her children and grandchildren and cherished my dad throughout their life together. 
Some of my fondest memories are simple ones: the comfort of her gentle back scratches when I was scared at night, and the sound of her loud, contagious laugh when something truly tickled her. Those moments were reminders of how much warmth she carried inside.
One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, celebrating their milestones, and spoiling them in every way she could. The love and laughter she shared with them will be a lasting gift they carry forever.
She spent many years as a caretaker, putting others before herself with  strength and devotion. 

You’ll be missed mom but I know you’re resting peacefully with daddy and we will meet again.

Susan was a force to be reckoned with. Our love language was banter and sarcasm, and I think we enjoyed our differences when we were together. One thing I never doubted was her love of her family, and how much she appreciated all they did for her. You were one of a kind, Effie. May your name be a blessing.

Susan was my next door neighbor and friend in Staten Island and we continued our friendship when she relocated yo Florida for years. We shared many conversations and laughs over our daily coffee sit downs. She was so upbeat! Always looked to the future. If I had one word to describe Susan ''TENACITY'' would be it. I will miss my friend and her encouragement that she would give me. RIP my sweet friend.

I will miss my tea and coffee  partner also  devil dogs and apple turn overs !! We had such good times ❤️😘

When I first met Susan years ago  I immediately knew she would be a special friend. Her personality shined in so many ways. Heaven has gained a Angel.

My mother, Effie Dotro, loved her family. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. She was funny, quick witted, and welcomed new experiences and friendships.  She loved cruises and going to Epcot, and she also really enjoyed going to breakfast, going shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved the Hallmark Mystery channel so much that it was playing around the clock. She was very happy in the home that she lived in for her last year. and enjoyed decorating it with fun things. However, she always hated the lizards in Florida!
