Frank Herbert Erickson

He was born in Newark, New Jersey on October 16, 1938, to the late Frank and Theresa (nee Seiser) Erickson.

Frank, a US Army veteran, retired from the Union Township Fire Department in 2001. At that time, he had 26 years of service and achieved the rank of lieutenant.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Theresa (nee Seiser) Erickson as well as his wife Frances in 2014, daughter Mary Anne Chiaramonte in 2002, and daughter Deborah Christian in 2024.

Frank is survived by his daughter Michelle Cherego and son Frank A. Erickson, his sister Mary Venezia and brother William Aber. Frank had six grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Julie, Katelyn, Andrew and Danielle. He also had one greatgrandchild Ciro.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083 on Wednesday October 8, 2025, from 4-8pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph, Maplewood, New Jersey on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 10:30am followed by entombment at the Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Frank's memory to the New Jersey Firmen's Home in Booton, NJ 565 Lathrop Ave. Boonton, NJ 07005.
