Helen S Gwiazdowski

Helen S. Gwiazdowski (nee Szewczyk), 95, passed on December 26, 2017. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony S Gwiazdowski, Sr, and survived by her children; Catherine M Pease (George), , Anthony S Gwiazdowski Jr (Elizabeth), Thomas P Gwiazdowski (Regina), her grandchildren; Anthony S III, Matthew, Kristina, Brian, and Kevin (Megan), and great-grandsons; Kasch, Michael, and Henry.

Helen was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and lived there until moving to Union in 1963 with her husband and their three children. She was a life-long member of Saint Adalbert's Roman Catholic Church and Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing 1943 graduate. She was a New Jersey State registered Nurse and an American Red Cross Nurse during World War II.

A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union from 3-7pm on Friday, December 29, 2017, and a Funeral Mass will be at Saint Adalbert's Church, Elizabeth at 10am on Saturday, December 30. An internment will take place at 10am on January 3, 2018 at Mount Cavalry Cemetery in Linden.
