Harry Wagner, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at his home in Union with his loving wife by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Harry worked as a U.S. Border Patrol Inspector before being reassigned to New York City where he worked as the Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Assistant District Director for Investigations) for more than 30 years. He was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church, as well as a member of the Union Township Players. Harry was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served for 5 years during WWII.
Harry was predeceased by his dear son Dr. Mark Jared Wagner in 1993. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Joan (nee Kane), and his nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Sunday May 6 from 1-5 PM to the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral mass will be offered at Holy Spirit Church on Monday May 7 at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
