He was born on December 19, 1955 in Los Arabos, Cuba to the late Silvino and Hortensia (nee Tortieles-Rodriguez) Chavez.
Humberto was survived by his wife Magdalia (nee Milian) Chavez, two sons and a daughter in law Alexander and his wife Kathy Chavez and Christopher Chavez.
Cremation will be held privately under the direction of McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, New Jersey 07083.
