James C. Love, 82, passed away on March 4, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Carmen, his children; Pamela Sunshine and her husband Larry, and Geoffrey Love and his wife Salina, his grandchildren; Julia Sunshine, Michael Sunshine and Kendra Love, his siblings; Joan Haggerty and her husband James , John Love and his wife Antoinette, Campbell Love and his wife Geraldine, and Ronald Love. James is predeceased by his sister-in law Patricia Love. James was an avid golfer, who loved traveling, Italian food, gardening and classic movies. James greatly enjoyed teaching math at Elizabeth High School where he was Chairman of the Math Department. He was also a long-time member of Forest Hill Field Club and the Union VFW.
A visitation will be held for James on Friday March 9 from 4-8pm at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd, Union followed by a burial at TBD.
