Janet (Urban) Pipala, 99 of Union NJ passed away on April 5, 2016 at Elmora Hills Health and Rehab in Elizabeth NJ. She was born in Elizabeth and moved to Union in 1950. She was employed in the personnel department of the Singer Company, Elizabeth for 29 years after retiring in 1978. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Pipala, devoted mother of Richard Pipala of Union and the late Robert Pipala, Dear Mother-in-Law of Joann Pipala and Eileen Pipala. Loving Grandmother of Carolyn Eknoian, Colleen Angrist, John Pipala, Stacey Pipala, Michael Pipala , Lisa Garland and Adoring Great-grandmother of 8. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7th from 4-8 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ 0708. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, April 8th at 10:00 AM at St. Adalbert Church, Elizabeth with interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
