Jean M. Sarno, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 09, 2013 in Brick, NJ. Born in Newark, Jean lived in Orange, Elizabeth, and eventually settled in Hillside for the past 24 years. She was an avid Yankees fan who loved to watch game shows on the Game Show Network. She was a strong, family oriented person, who was the backbone of her family.
Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis, and her son Thomas. She leaves behind her loving children Louis and his wife Dawn, Theresa and her fiancé Michael, and Joseph and his fiancé Sara. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Jeanine, Taylor, Michael, and Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12 from 4-8 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union, NJ. Funeral mass will be offered on Friday, December 13 at 10AM at St. Catherine’s Church 1000 N. Broad Street, Hillside NJ, with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
