John was my dear friend for over 45 years. We shared countless moments together talking records, selling at Warrenville, going out on record buying trips, not to mention eating in diners all over the tri-state area! He was my teacher; taught me everything I know about vintage Jazz and Blues recordings today. We also shared a love for antiques. Lorraine and I send our condolences to Eleanor and his family. We will miss you, dearly. Rest in Peace, John.

John was a colorful character at the Record Research Associates meetings in New York, as well as the annual Jazz Bash, held around New Brunswick, and currently in Islelin/Woodbridge.  RIP, John.
