

Joseph A. Dudutis, a beloved, brave, and hard-working individual, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on March 19, 1935, Joseph was raised in Elizabeth, NJ, before settling in Union. He attended DeVry University in 1954, marking the beginning of a life dedicated to learning and excellence.
Joseph served bravely during the Korean conflict and went on to work as a Quality Assurance Engineer with Western Electric for 32 years. He retired from his esteemed career in 1990, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and meticulous work.
He was married to the love of his life, Maryann, with whom he shared a rich and fulfilling life. Joseph was a devoted father to his children, Thomas and Michael. He was predeceased by his brother, John Serafinas, and leaves behind his sister, Ann Garcia, and her husband, Bill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In his personal life, Joseph enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his wife, Maryann, and cherished attending family events throughout the year, including barbecues and holiday and birthday celebrations. He maintained close relationships with his co-workers, frequently meeting them for luncheons after his retirement.
Visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ, on October 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A committal service will take place at Hollywood Cemetery, 1621 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ, on October 13, 2025, at 11:00 am.
Joseph A. Dudutis will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
