Keith Douglas Surhoff

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J. A service will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.

Keith was born Oct. 15, 1962, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J. He resided in Westfield, N.J., before moving to Union at the age of 15, where he attended Kawameeh Middle School and Union High School. Keith was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was employed as a Union County police officer for 25 years. He also belonged to the PBA and NRA. He was involved with the Indian Valley Sportsman Association, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Cherished son of the late Henry and Norma Surhoff, he was the beloved husband of Karen Marie Surhoff; adoring father of Christopher Williams and his wife, Jennifer, and Shannon Williams; loving brother of Peter Allen Surhoff and his wife, Lina, and brother-in-law of James Keith Rader and his wife, Tamara, and Billy Rader; dear uncle of Mikaela, Nicholas and Anthony Surhoff, James Rader II, Jeremy Rader, and Jared Rader.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Jersey State PBA Survivor and Welfare Fund, 158 Main St., Woodbridge, N.J. 07095, in memory of Keith Surhoff.
