I came to meet Ken through work and then working with him as my friend and daughter moved into one of the buildings he maintained. I cannot believe this is real. Ken was an amzing man always there to help both me my friend and my daughter. He was extremely talented at everything and it will be impossible to replace. Always had a smile. Rest in peace my friend and my sympathy to your entire family

My few interactions with Ken were pleasant and he was helpful in solving the problems we raised. I can't believe he's gone - I just saw him in the elevator a few weeks ago. He will be missed. I pray for comfort for his family.

My family and I learned of Ken’s passing and we are so incredibly saddened about this news. My mom moved into the building on 78th and Hudson a few years ago and Ken has been such a tremendous support. With my mom living alone and being limited with the English language, I would contact Ken directly with any question or concern and he went above and beyond to assist us. Ken was always gracious and professional. I remember one day my sister and I were trying to reach my mom and were concerned she was hurt or became ill as she was not responding to our outreach. I contacted Ken and he immediately knocked on her door to ensure she was safe. He really cared about people and would always say hello and ask about the family’s wellbeing. His kindness was rare and his smile was contagious. We hope his family is able to find comfort in this difficult time. Know that Ken was loved. Our condolences, Bueno Family

So sorry for Kenny’s family. I know he will be missed by all. We go way back. I met Kenny as a teenager. I had the great pleasure and honor of being called aunt Linda by his children and godmother to Leigh Ann. I got to be part of and watch his family grow over the years. He will be missed! Love and prayers.

My loved Ken, I only knew you for two years but that was more than enough time to get to know and love you. As we spoke on the phone the night before, as we used to do everyday, I would have never thought it'd be the last time I'd hear your voice and your laugh. You left so sudden so unexpected, leaving a huge empty space. You were an extraordinary, selfless man with a kind heart. I feel lucky and grateful to have met you. Thank you for always been there for me, for my daughter, my family. I will miss you always and keep you close to my heart. I will never forget that special look in your eyes.
Rest in peace my love ❤

Ken, you were a great man that will be missed. Ill always remember you for kindness, whether its coming over and fixing the heat in the middle of the night so we didn't freeze or teaching me about plumbing and repairs. You were a great man and what you have done for others will not be forgotten.
May you rest in peace.

From day one we were instant friends. Working with you kept me smiling and laughing and sane. A friendship evolved and I am so grateful to have had you in my life. We were an amazing team, truly looking out for each other...I feel your loss profoundly. I used to say that I couldn't do this without you...truth is, I just wish I didn't have to...I miss you every day.
You. Are. The. Best.
Rest peacefully my friend...xo, Chiara

Mr Spence was always such a good man, growing up with his daughters I had the pleasure of being like another daughter to him when i was younger. He was such a nice guy, had an awesome sense of humor and would help anyone he could if it was needed. The memories are countless. May he rest in peace.

My memory is Ken as a tenant in one Buildings he maintains is that of a nice person who is always cheerful and genuinely cares about the people he comes in contact with. I clearly remember him coming into my apartment earlier this month. I was surprised that he still came to work in the midst of Corona virus pandemic. He came to help fix shower head in the master bathroom. He came with the usual smile on his face, joking with my husband and child like he always does each time he visits. When my husband told me he passed today. I wept, it felt like my close relative passed away. He spoke fondly of his grand kids and family each time he came around. He really will be sorely missed. I pray God will give the family the strength to bear the loss.
