

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lucila C. Arnibal of Roselle Park, New Jersey, who passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on May 20, 1966, and raised in Cebu City, Philippines, Lucila carried the warmth and resilience of her homeland throughout her life, and she will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—steadfast in devotion, and faithful in the love she so freely gave.
Lucila was best known for her extraordinary gift in the kitchen. An amazing chef, she expressed care in the most tangible way—through meals that gathered family and friends close, turning ordinary moments into comfort and celebration. Her food was never simply food; it was generosity made visible, a quiet devotion offered plate by plate, and a lasting reminder of how deeply she cherished the people in her life.
Beyond the kitchen, Lucila found joy in cross-stitching, a craft that suited her patience and attentive spirit. With care and creativity, she made beautiful pieces that reflected the love she poured into what she did. Those handmade creations remain treasured keepsakes—enduring symbols of her thoughtful hands and faithful heart.
Lucila was preceded in death by her father, Diosdado Arnibal; her brother, Sergio Arnibal; and her infant twin brothers. She was also recently preceded by her cherished dog and constant companion, Oreo, whose presence brought her comfort and joy. Their bond was profound, and it is a solace to many to imagine them reunited.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Filomena Arnibal; her sisters, Susan Arnibal and Fe Arnibal; her brother-in-law, Tony Delaurier; her nephew, Ryan Delaurier; and her niece, Alice Zaragoza. She also leaves behind many relatives and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her steady kindness and unwavering love.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Lucila’s life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a Prayer Service from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm. A Catered Reception will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who loved and supported Lucila throughout her life. Your friendship, kindness, and presence meant so much to her, and continue to bring comfort during this time of loss.
