

Margaret (Peggy) Gigantiello passed away on Holy Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her three girls and her son-in-law. She was born in Newark and lived in Hillside for 58 years where she raised her three daughters. Worked at Bristol Meyers for 28 years, was an active member of Christ the King Church, and her community. She gave unselfishly of her free time to her family and friends. To know her was to love her!
Predeceasing Peggy was her husband Joseph Gigantiello who passed in 1995. Surviving are her three daughters, Deborah DeSanto, Joanne Gigantiello-Kane, Marguerite Marion. Her two son-in-laws, Robert DeSanto, and Anthony Marion. Two sisters, May Keller, Patricia Seeberger, her brother Franklin Donnellan and sister-in-law Celeste Donnellan. 7 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 to 9:00pm, and Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at McCracken’s Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, at 10:30am Christ the King Church, Hillside. Interment will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
