Marie Derig

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Michael’s Church, Union on Tuesday, June 18th at 9:15 AM, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Marie was born in Czechoslovakia and lived in Irvington for 25 years, before settling in Union in 1983. She had lived in the U.S. for 55 years. Marie was employed by Codman & Shurtleff Inc., Hillside for 23 years, before her retirement in 1985. She was a parishioner at St. Michael’s Church, Union, as well as a member of the Schwabischer Gesangs Verein Club, Clark and the Union Senior Citizens Tuesday and Thursday Club.

Beloved wife of the late John Derig. Loving sister of the late Anna Lehenherr and the late Albert Klos, and sister-in-law of the late Margareta Klos. Dear aunt of Dictlind Klos and Reinhard Klos, and great-aunt of Antonia, Salka, and Valentin Klos.
