Mary Anne J Saunders

Mary Anne J. Saunders, 70, passed away on June 6, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Saunders, her two children; Kim and Charles Saunders, and her siblings; Susan Kieri and her husband Mike, Michael Bertram and his wife Stephanie, Raymond Bertram and his wife Lori, her nieces and nephews; Allison, Melinda, Ray, Stephanie and Eddie. Mary Anne is predeceased by her parents; James and Ethel Bertram, her siblings; Tommy and James and her nephew Jimmy. Mary Anne is a graduate of Union College of Cranford, and St. Mary’s High School in Elizabeth. She worked as an Assistant Purchasing Agent for the County of Union for over 28 years. Mary Anne was the matriarch of the family and an animal lover. The family pets (a dog and three cats) Josie and the Pussycats will mourn her as well. A visitation will be held for Mary Anne at McCracken Funeral Home on Sunday, June 10 from 2-6pm. Her service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Mary Anne’s name to Liberty Humane Society at libertyhumane.org, or an Animal Shelter of your choice.

My thoughts and prays are with Saunder's family. Maryanne was a true friend .. I've know her since 1985 .. Maryann was always there for me to help and provide moral support. Her friendship will never be forgotten and cherished.
