She immigrated to the United States in 1962 where she was reunited with her husband, Enrique. Milagros gladly welcomed each new family who arrived to the U.S. with open arms and an open heart. Her husband’s family became hers.
They settled in Elizabeth, NJ. Milagros proudly worked for the County of Union assisting individuals with job training and placement. She established wonderful friendships which were maintained long after her retirement. She loved them as they loved her.
Enrique predeceased Milagros in July of 2019.
Milagros is survived by her sister, Consuelo and niece Vivian.
She also leaves behind her daughter Silvia, her son-in-law Craig, and her three grandchildren Colin, Charlotte, and Clarissa
