Moises Guerrero, 63, a much-loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, of Hillside, NJ passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ on Saturday, February 9, 2013 with his family present. He had bravely fought a long battle of many illnesses.
He was born on February 22, 1949 to Geofredo and Maxima Guerrero in San Juan, Ilocos Sur. Philippines. On December 16, 1975 he married Teresita Tomas in Sinait, Ilocos Sur Philippines.
He was a college professor at th University of the Philippines before coming to the U.S. in 1976. Here, he did office work for Hayward Pool Products Inc. in Elizabeth NJ for almost 20 years.
Moises was a strong, but quiet man. In his spare time, he loved just being with his family. He also enjoyed watching the news and listening to his favorite music from OPM to the likes of Jerry Vale, Frank Sinatra, and Andy Williams.
Survivors include his loving and dedicated wife Teresita of 37 years, his loving and dedicated daughters Maritess and Marissa, his sisters Choleng and Digna, his loving father Geofredo, his brother Ignacio, aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and close friends.
He was predeceased in death by his mother Maxima in September, 2011.
Moises was extremely and proud of his two daughters. He adored his wife Teresita. The two were inseparable, always holding hands.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8 PM. Cremation will be private.
