Nancy E. Hood

Nancy E. Blaisdell Hood passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 with her beloved husband by her side. She was 80 years old. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 4, 1933. She lived in Rahway before retiring to Florida in 1989. Nancy enjoyed bowling, bingo, square dancing, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her brother Richard C. Blaisdell, and survived by her husband Robert M. Hood; her three children Bob Hood II and wife Stacey of Forney, TX, Cindy Wohltman and husband Chet of Monroe Twp., and Doug Hood and wife Laura of Somerset. She had eight grandchildren; Eric, Laura and Kevin Wohltman, Douglas, Katie and Jonathan Hood, Ariel Hood and Alexis Head. She also had a great-grandchild, Kennedy Head.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 19th from 2- 4pm and 7-9pm at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave, Union. A service will take place at the funeral home on Friday December 20th at 11am with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
