I'm so very saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. I adored Nancy, her spirit, spunk, and humanity. I will never forget her advice when I began teaching (many years before block scheduling): "You can handle anything for 42 minutes, including a pin stuck in your eye." That advice has carried me through many trying moments throughout my career! I miss seeing her bring bread to work to feed the birds in the courtyard and hearing her voice resonate through the hallways in the horseshoe. She was a treasure and she has done her part to leave the world a better place. Rest in peace, Nancy.

Nancy was a character . She always said what was on her mind no matter what. She loved all animals. She loved her students and always went out of her way to help them. I met Nancy the day she was hired. I considered her a dear friend all those years. God bless you Nancy I am you are at peace at last. I will always cherish our memories and be grateful we were friends and colleagues.

Nancy was an old soul. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always straight to the point about her opinions on things. I remember she loved animals and I recall she would throw left over bread for the birds in the West Essex parking lot for them. She was a wonderful person and a great teacher. Nancy was loved by her students and was very accommodating to them.
