Noeme Goncalves De Rodriguez, 55, passed away on August 13, 2017. Beloved wife of 33 years to Francisco Rodriguez, loving mother to Diana, Angelica and Erika and dear grandmother to Julian. Noeme is the beloved daughter of Maria Piedade De Jesus and mother-in-law to Jose Goncalves and Nick Silva. She is predeceased by her father Martinho Goncalves.
Noeme was born in Maracay, Venezuela and settled in Rahway, NJ in 2002. She was the matriarch of her family and an inspiration to many. She worked as a substitute teacher whose students were fortunate to have her. Noeme’s life will be celebrated on three continents as she was a much loved and revered member of her family.
A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ on August 16, 2017 from 4:30-9pm. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, 403 Spring St, Elizabeth, NJ, on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10am followed by a burial at Fairview Cemetery, 1100 E Broad St, in Westfield, NJ.
