Norma Dolores Sisk

Norma Dolores Sisk, 83, passed away peacefully at the home of her loving son, Raymond on Saturday, March 25, 2017 surrounded by her family. Norma was born in Elizabeth and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Alice Berglund. She was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Elizabeth.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elizabeth Fire Chief Edward J. Sisk, her brother Theodore Berglund and sister Alice Wilson. Norma leaves behind her loving and devoted children, Edward Sisk and his wife Helena, Kathleen Addessa and her husband Paul, Maureen Gabriel, Raymond Sisk and his wife Brigid, and Kevin Sisk. She was the proud grandmother of nine, Edward, Nicholas, Erin Marie, Ryan, Erika, Kelly, Raymond, Kyle and Kayla. Norma is also survived her dear sister-in-law Dolores Sisk and by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Genevieve’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Monmouth Road, Elizabeth followed by interment at Mount Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery, 220 Mount Olivet Avenue, Newark.
