Olivia Belloso, 18, of Union, New Jersey, passed away on June 9, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 10, 2008, in the Bronx, NY, Olivia was the beloved daughter of Orlando and Wilmaris Belloso.
A proud member of the Union High School Class of 2026, Olivia had recently been accepted to William Paterson University, where she planned to study pre-med, pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. She carried herself with a steady sense of purpose and a deep care for others—qualities that were evident in the way she led and the way she loved.
Olivia served with distinction in JROTC, earning the respect of those around her as a dedicated leader and becoming the first female commander in years. Her determination and quiet strength were matched by a willingness to step forward, to set an example, and to meet responsibility with grace.
In addition to her studies and leadership, Olivia worked as a barista at Starbucks and as a receptionist at Endo Surg. Whether at school, at work, or among friends, she was known for her reliability, her warmth, and the sincere kindness that made others feel seen and supported.
Olivia’s life was rich with creativity and joy. She loved singing, working out, baking, drawing, writing, Broadway shows, and anime. She treasured time with family and friends, and she held close the simple, meaningful moments: beach sunrises with her mother, cooking breakfast with her father, and making memories with the people she loved most.
Olivia is survived by her parents, Orlando and Wilmaris Belloso, and her brothers, Joshua Betances and Owen Belloso.
Olivia will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and humor, and for being unapologetically herself. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
