Patricia G Flanagan

Patricia G. Flanagan (nee Ganey), age 91, of Elizabeth, NJ, died on Saturday, 08/15/2026. Patricia was born in Newark, NJ, where she graduated from St. Michael’s High School and met her husband of 70 years Edward J. Flanagan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A longtime parishioner of St. Genevieve Parish in Elizabeth, she previously worked for Kean College Library and NJ Bell Phone Company. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, sons Michael and Daniel, and brother John. She is survived by her sons Edward Jr, James and his wife Linda, and daughter-in-law Anne. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Daniel Jr, Kevin, Brian and his wife Rachael, John, Kenny, Ellen, and Caitlin; and great-grandchildren, Peter, Lucy, Charlotte, and John Paul. She is also survived by her sister Dolores Oberlies, sister-in-law Dolly Malit, and sister-in-law Margaret Flanagan.

Visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083, US, on August 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Genevieve's Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208, US, on August 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031, US, on August 21, 2026, at 12:00 pm
