She was born September 10, 1943 in Newark, NJ, a daughter of the late Francis Zayac and the late Theresa Finn.
Patricia or Patti, as many called her, spent many years as an Administrative Assistant before retiring from St. Peter’s Healthcare System. Patients and colleagues have described her as a strong woman who was caring & kind and loved her family fiercely.
She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Stotzer, whom she married in 1984, her brother Allen, her sister Eileen, in addition to her parents. She is survived by her son, Joseph Gaeb and his wife, Susan as well as her adored grandchildren, Kyle and his wife Carli, Megan and Brady as well as her sister, Lorraine Best.
Over her 83 years of life she touched the lives of many often giving out gifts and trinkets along with advice and friendship. Patti lived a full life doting on family and friends. She lived her life her way with no regrets and relied on her strong faith. She loved all kinds of knick knacks and took immense pride in her home, collecting and displaying meaningful pieces over the years. Her dog Mollie, has been her constant companion over the last 13 years and will miss her incredibly.
Patti’s presence will be missed tremendously as we let go of a wonderful woman, a loving mother, a doting proud grandmother and a kind soul. As we mourn our loss, we will also celebrate the love, joy and spirit that were the essence of Patricia’s life.
