Patsy Cupo

Patsy Cupo, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4 with his loving family by his side. Born in Newark, Patsy was a resident of Elizabeth for 52 years. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Elizabeth where he served as Parish Council President, as well as an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3310. Patsy was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War . He was a devoted husband and father who adored his grandchildren, and a fan of the N.Y. Yankees and Giants.

Patsy is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Anita; his loving children Lisa Butynes and her husband David, and Patrick and his wife Ann. He also leaves behind his adoring grandchildren Alyssa, Kaylyn, Gabriela, and Andrew; his sister Mary Cruz, and brothers Tony and Richie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6 from 2-4 & 7-9 at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union, NJ. Funeral will be from the funeral home at 9:30AM with mass to be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Elizabeth on Wednesday, August 7 at 10:30AM with entombment and committal service to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
