Beloved husband, father & grandfather, Perry Edwin King, 90, longtime resident of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2023. Born August 20, 1932 and raised in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late John King and Lucille King, the beloved husband of the late Dolores King and brother of the late John King and Marie (King) DeFilippo. He is survived by his sister Adele (King) Fernicola, his children Perry King (JoAnna), Ken King (Paula), Janice King and David King; grandsons Zachary King, Kevin King (Sarah Hammond), Ryan King and Griffin King. Perry served in the US Army from 1953-1955 in Augsburg, Germany (with honorable discharge) and then worked at DuPont for 30+ years. The family will receive guests Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
