I believe I've known Pete and Dotty my entire life. Pete was my Dad's armorer for "The Prodigal Son" and "Ol Bev" during WWII. We always enjoyed their visits to the ranch in Nebraska as I was growing up, then later when they came to visit Jody and I in Casper, WY. We had lost contact about a year ago. I praise God for putting Pete (and Dotty) in my life.

Mr. Wilson was a steady, fair minded teacher and coach. 
Although I was built like a field participant  
I loved to run the 100yd dash and whenever there was an empty lane he indulged me. I think I took one third place over the years. He was all smiles! 
Joe Yachimach, Don Catino, Ned Quinn, Bill Schwab, and Dave Meyers were the main focus 
of his efforts, and rightly so. We all however, thought the world of him.
As a teacher and coach he had a positive impact on countless young people and his family can be very proud of him.

On behalf of our Bloomfield High School Class of 1958 please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.  Mr. Wilson was well respected and admired. He will be remembered fondly by all that knew him.

Mr. Wilson was an enthusiastic supporter of BHS track and field and my running efforts. He always had a smile, a kind word, and some really great advice. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

What an Outstanding person....always a gentleman... Pete started his coaching career in 1947  at Metuchen HS and I was lucky enough to sit down with him and discuss his time here at MHS...He gave me tons of pictures and results of one of his former athletes James Fielding....truly one of the nicest people I have ever met.  Thank you Pete!

It was pleasure to work with and learn from Pete Wilson during my time at Bloomfield High School.  I retired as an Assistant Principal  and if I succeeded to the degree Pete did, I would consider my career a success.  God bless Pete Wilson!

Mr. Wilson was a true gentleman and leader as vice principal at Bloomfield High School. He was a man of respect and dignity when that meant quite a lot. So sorry to hear of Peter Wilson's passing. We met a few times during his WWII 354th FG reunions. He was a sweet man and proud of his service in the war and his time as a coach and history teacher. Rest in Peace, Peter.

Mr Peter Wilson was an awesome Vice Principal. When they built the new addition on Bloomfield HS-- the ventilation system was not right. The fumes from the auto shop were going into the other rooms in the new addition and I got CO2 poisoning and my parents called Mr Wilson and he got the problem fixed immediately.  Than you Mr Wilson for loving your students for so many years. RIP Mr Wilson

Rest in Peace Coach Pete. I'm glad you lived so long.  You deserved it and much more.  I was lucky to be on your track team and in one of your classes, too.  It's really hard to get over losing you even after so many years after graduating from BHS in 1958.
