Ralph L. Pondiscio, Jr.

Ralph Pondiscio Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, after a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and service to his community.

Born on October 12, 1940, Ralph was a proud and longtime resident of Union, New Jersey, where he built his life and raised his family. In 2022, he and his beloved wife relocated to Boynton Beach, Florida, where he spent his final years.

Ralph dedicated 48 years of his career to General Motors in Linden, New Jersey — a testament to his extraordinary work ethic, loyalty, and commitment. Beyond his professional life, Ralph was deeply rooted in his faith and community. He was an active and devoted member of Holy Spirit Church and gave generously of his time and energy to the Boy Scouts, helping to shape the character of countless young men throughout the years.

Above all, Ralph was a family man with a quick wit and a wisecrack always at the ready, never missing a chance to bring a smile to those around him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth (née Gavino) Pondiscio; his two sons, Ralph Pondiscio III and Nicholas Pondiscio; his daughters-in-law, Denise and Larissa; his four cherished grandchildren, Stefanie, Talia, Alexander, and Brandon; and his loving sister, Patricia Barton. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Sr and Marie Pondiscio, and his brother, Philip Pondiscio.

Ralph Pondiscio Jr. will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
