Ramon Gutierrez

Ramon was born on September 30, 1949, in Manila, Philippines. He lived a life of faith and was the epitome of a great family man - one with quiet strength and everlasting love.

Ramon was a loving and faithful husband to his wife Adelina for 50 years; a devoted father to his two daughters, Mina and Rona; supportive father in-law to Vic and Mervin; a wonderful and generous grandfather to Michelle, Joey, Matthew and Lucy; and a loyal friend to many. He adored the family dogs Abby and Noodle.

Ramon was a retired property manager. He was also an excellent woodworker in his younger years. He was our real-life MacGyver, with his skills and expertise in fixing everything with limited resources. Beyond his professional life, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, cooking for the family, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a big fan of the music of Engelbert Humperdinck.

Ramon’s legacy will live on through his family and friends. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, hard work, and humility. His calm and steady presence was a source of comfort to all who knew him, and his passing has left a profound void.

A visitation for Ramon will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 12:00 Noon, at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 971 Suburban Rd, Union, NJ 07083.
