Robert Pynckels, a longtime resident of Union, NJ and formerly of Irvington, NJ, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2025. Robert worked as a dedicated machinist at Accelerated CNC in South Plainfield. Outside of his trade, he was a passionate golfer and a proud member of the Ashbrook Association.
A man of deep faith and service, Robert was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus with Council 4504 in Union and an active member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Union Lodge.
Robert is survived by his three loving siblings: Barbara Saul (Manfred), Deborah Kuntz (Jerry), and Wayne Pynckels (Carolyn) and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Helen O’Connor (Edward “Mickey”) and Robert Pynckels; his brothers, Tim and Michael O’Connor; and his sister, Suzanne Patak. He also leaves behind many cherished friends who will remember him with great affection.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
