Robert joined the Navy at 17 and was a Navy Seabee. He was deployed to Okinawa Japan. After he left the military in 1946, Robert used his GI Bill to become a plumber. He was in the plumbing trade well into his eighties. Robert was also a police officer with the Union Police Department for 30 years until his retirement in 1981.
Robert is predeceased by his wife Virginia, his daughter Barbara and his son William.
He is survived by his son Robert and his wife Victoria and their children Robert and Brian.
A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Wednesday July 21, 2021 from 3-7pm.
