Rona migrated to the US in 1963, she worked at Riggs National Bank in Washington, D.C. until moving to Union NJ where she worked her way up to Assistant Vice President at Union Center National Bank. Rona worked for Union Central National Bank for over 24 years until her retirement in 1990. In 1951 she met the love of her life Maurice at a St. Patrick's Day dance and they were married August 7, 1954. To this union one child was born, Rona's beloved son Paul, whom she loved with all her heart.
Rona was the matriarch and backbone of the family. She kept everyone together and on task with her ever optimistic spirit. She always would say "never think about the "what if's"". Rona was a world traveler, an avid shopper and she not only loved a good party, but she also loved to entertain.
Rona was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 53 years Maurice O'Shea; Siblings Jean, Edith, John and Frank.
Rona is survived by; son Paul O'Shea and his fiancée Linda; granddaughter Megan P. O'Shea Sales and her husband David: Great grandson Logan; She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews and a Mother figure to many. Rona was an amazing woman that many looked up to especially close family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rona's memory may be made to; St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
