Sally was born on December 22, 1945 in Newark, NJ to the late Salvatore and Angela Cassiere.
She married the love of her life, Larry, and together they had a full and wonderful life raising their son Larry and enjoying the company of friends and family at their shore house in Manahawkin, New Jersey and then in Sarasota, Florida.
She loved to travel, and it was her dream come true when she traveled with her family to Paris and London and then the next year to Italy.
Sally was a big fan of music, went to concerts, traveled to Nashville, always listened to her “Ipod” and loved watching music videos on Youtube.
Sally loved going to good restaurants and searching for the perfect slice of pizza, even traveling to Connecticut on one occasion.
Most of all she loved her family and was so proud of her grandson Joseph. Even though she was in Florida she always made sure she was present for his school accomplishments and baseball games.
We are going to miss so many wonderful things about Sally. Her great sense of humor and her contagious laugh. We are going to miss her great Sunday Italian “gravy” and the best eggplant parmesan. We will miss the containers of cookies she would carry from Florida every Christmas. We will miss her hugs and the way she grabbed your face to kiss you hello or goodbye.
We will miss her every day in every way.
Sally was predeceased by her husband Larry. She is survived by her son Larry and his wife Maria, and her grandson Joseph and his wife Caileigh, her cousin Denise Caprario, and many nieces and nephews.
