Susan was a beautiful person and a dear friend. We became friends when we worked together at Bloomfield High School, and we remained close after we both left. She always made others feel special with her kind words. Susan was a loving and devoted friend, and I will miss her terribly. The world lost a sweet soul on Monday. May she rest in peace.

She was a kind person. She had a Great family, spent many Sunday's at dinner, Her Mom (Edna) could cook, dad was funny, liked his wine.
I remember her acting in local plays, enjoyed the ones I attended. We had fun times, even got her on my Harley to attend a Benefit Run once. We were different and parted ways. R.I.P. Susan, we will meet again. Jay Rhein

I had the privilege of working with Susan for several years at a couple of schools in Bloomfield.  She was always so sweet and a very caring and loving person.  Many have described her as a gentle soul and she was truly that kind of spirit.  She was a loyal friend.  Thinking of the family and pray that you may be comforted in this time of loss.

I worked with Susan at Carteret Elementary and she was the sweetest person.  Whenever I gave her a complement she wanted to know if I really liked it.  I love your glasses Susan.  Rest in Gods Arms.

Susan was a beautiful soul. We bonded instantly when we started working together in Bloomfield Schools. She called me her Big sister at work. We shared so many ups and downs together. Susan was a gentle soul who always brought compassion and care in every aspect of her work and life. I admired the ways she provided care for her mother. She always had a beautiful smile no matter how stressful the things became. My children called her Auntie Susan and she participated in their celebrations. They valued her blessings.  I will miss her smile and love. I pray to God that He gives eternal peace to her soul.

Susan was a beautiful soul.  She was caring and always willing to help or volunteer.  She had a beautiful smile. 

I am so very sad Suzie has left us. I will miss her forever. I remember seeing her every day visiting "Meems", my mother-in-law, she always had a smile and was bringing the same to Meems. She always came for Christmas and was always very sweet. Suzie and I used to go to the movies every weekend and if not, we went to brunch. Panera was her favorite. We had such good talks, deep ones which told me who she was on the inside and even then, I have never met anyone as sweet. I am so glad we had these special times together. I've never met anyone quite like her, I felt like I've known her forever. She was a big animal lover and doted on them in such a caring way. I truly loved her for that compassion. She had quirks, but we laughed at them together. That showed me how true she was for our friendship. I will miss her like no other.
She taught my two nieces while they attended St. Michaels school for a little while and they adored her. She was very good to them, she didn't even realize they were my nieces, which speaks to her caring character.
 Rest in peace, Suzie girl! I will always love you. You will be so so missed. See you when I get there!

I am deeply, deeply saddened by Susie's passing! She was my cousin and I grew up with her. She was a very, very sweet caring soul who worked in education for years, and came from a large family of siblings and numerous loving uncles, aunts and cousins.  She loved animals and loved to laugh with her witty sense of humor.  Susan was a very talented artist as well. I remember her drawings of cards for her family and others that were extraordinaryly personal. I still have those she sent me. I am sure God must have taken her so early in life because He needed her for a job in Heaven only she could do. She graduated Kean University with a BA and Masters degree.  She will be missed very much by those who knew and loved her so dearly. She was a very special person.
