Vincenzo Monteforte

Vincent cherished his family, friends, lady Charlotte his beloved sailboat and his insurance clients dearly.

He was so proud to be a medic in the army and chose that so he could have something in common with Charlotte G. Paulis, a Nurse anesthetist who he married in 1959. They had two children Deborah and Margaret. Deborah became a physician and Margaret a chef.

Vincent is survived by his two sisters, Lina and Amelia and his daughter Deborah.

Those who knew Vincent will remember a man who made people feel valued and at ease—steady in his loyalty, generous in spirit, and quietly selfless in the ways that matter most. His compassion showed itself not in grand displays, but in consistent kindness and a devoted presence for others. Even in ordinary moments, Vincent’s warm humor had a way of lightening the room, offering comfort and connection with a well-timed remark and a gentle, familiar smile. Cherished by many, he leaves behind a legacy of care, decency, and enduring love.

Visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083, on September 24, 2026, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church

located at 225 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069 on September 25th at 10am.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
