Wilfrido Aladino Guzman

He was born on June 6, 1942 in Milagro, Ecuador to Ana Maria and Manuel Guzman.

At the age of 27 years old, he came to the United States from Ecuador in pursuit of a better life for his family. He became a member of International Union of Operating Engineer Local 825 in 1976, where he worked for 43 years. He was also a member of the United States Navy Reserves, construction battalions, Seabees for 17 years.

He had a love for life, a true adventurer at heart. He loved to venture on the open highway on his Harley. Jump fearlessly out of airplane to skydive or just simply travel with his loving wife Maria. If it got your adrenaline pumping there was a good chance he was ready to do it! If the road didn’t take him there he would take the pleasure in traveling in a good book and let his mind take him there. He loved racquet ball , soccer and the company of friends.

There will be a memorial service for Wilfrido to honor his life at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union NJ on Saturday August 2, 2025 at 11:00am. Please join his family as we say our farewell to a loving husband to Maria Guzman, beloved father to Geraldine Lima,son-in-law Alex Lima and Omar Guzman and daughter-in-law Nicole Guzman. Beloved grandfather to Samantha Rosario, Matthew Lima, Alejandro and Adrian Guzman and bonus grand daughters ’s Grace and Leah Cardinale.
