William J. Carracino

William (Bill) was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, having enlisted at the age of 17. He is predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Loretta Marie Carracino, who passed away 18 days prior to her beloved husband. He is survived by his son William, two daughters, Susan Marie Carracino and Debra Ann Ferro and his grandchildren, Christina, TJ, Michael, Juliann, Mary Elizabeth and Trey. Bill was the oldest son of seven first-generation American children of Italian immigrants, Anthony and Antoinette Carracino, and is also survived by his sister, Mrs. Loretta Smith.

Bill was born in Hillside, NJ in 1927 and resided in Union County his entire life. Bill was well-known and well-loved by countless friends he made and kept over the years. He was incredibly devoted to his wife, Loretta, and their family. After retiring at the age of 82, Bill and his wife traveled quite a bit and split their time between their homes in Union and Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home on Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 10:00 am followed by burial in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
