William had a distinguished career of 30 years as a Firefighter with Engine 18 of the Newark Fire Department serving through the fires of the Newark riots and the Texaco Farms fuel explosion.
He is survived by his wife of seventy years Marion, sister Ann and husband Hank, his children; Michael Hahn and wife Elise, William Hahn and wife Annette, Thomas Hahn and wife Monica, Patty Quaile and husband Bill, Mary Weisenbacher and husband Paul, and Linda Hahn; his grandchildren; Michael Hahn, wife Christina and great granddaughter Gabrielle, Andrew Hahn and wife Elisa, Thomas Hahn, Lauran Hahn, Matthew Hahn, Troy Quaile and wife Nichole, Tyler Quaile, Daniel Weisenbacher, wife Saori and great granddaughter Nina Grace, and Anthony Weisenbacher.
No funeral mass will be held due to quarantine, and a private entombment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
