William K. Tice

William Kenneth Edward Tice, 77, passed away on May 7, 2013, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, N.J. Bill was born in Newark, N.J., and graduated from Irvington High School. He Belonged to St. John's Lutheran Church and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, East Orange, N.J. Bill worked for the Acme Markets for 40 years and was a store manager. After retiring Bill worked for Kraft Foods. Bill's hobbies included bowling, trains, and spending memorable time with his nieces and nephews. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Harriet (nee Herckner), of 42 years. Bill was the loving uncle of 10 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews, along with his three sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Mildred Tice. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral services at the funeral home on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
