

Adella Montecino Vasquez, age 87, of Rancho Cucamonga, California passed on to eternal rest to be with her husband Raymond. She was happily married to Raymond for 61 years. Adella was born December 16, 1934 in Cucamonga, California to parents Encarnación and Petra Montecino. She was raised in Cucamonga and lived out her entire life there. She was the fifth child of eight, Lucy Romo, Jenny Gonzales, Daniel Montecino, Andrea Hernandez, Carmen Montoya, Claudio Montecino and Eulalia Gracia.
She is survived by her children Ramona (Peter), Pete (Carol), Martin (Christine) and Teresa (Anthony). In addition to her children she had 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Adella was also affectionately known as “Lelo”. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family, she also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 10+ years and finished her final working years at Nakano Foods for 7+ years before retiring.
She enjoyed spending time with all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She had a passion for crocheting blankets for everyone. She was a die hard Lakers fan for years. And lets not forget she loved going to Vegas and gambling a bit on the slot machines.
